SOUTH YORKSHIRE LVEP (LOCAL VISITOR ECONOMY PARTNERSHIP)
The South Yorkshire Local Visitor Economy Partnership (SYLVEP) is a collaboration between Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council, City of Doncaster Council, Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council, Sheffield City Council and the South Yorkshire Combined Mayoral Authority (SYMCA). Its purpose is to work collectively on shared priorities and targets to foster the growth of the local visitor economy.

The SYLVEP was accredited by Visit England in 2023 as one of 34 LVEP’s across the country. These LVEPs provide strong local leadership and governance at destination level. Find out more about the national LVEP framework here.
