The project facilitates the delivery of new and improved off site highways infrastructure mitigation works and towards the onsite delivery of the road through the MU1 site, promoting the delivery of the MU1 mixed use employment and housing site. 43ha of land for employment purposes that will create circa 3,510 new jobs when fully occupied is planned. In addition, 1700 new homes plus public open space and a new primary school aim to be delivered following infrastructure improvements.
