The A61 project will deliver a new five-lane arrangement over Old Mill Lane bridge, inclusive of a designated southbound bus lane. This will improve traffic capacity and support future active travel provision whilst also improving the overall bus journey experience on the A61 through targeted interventions that enhance traffic flow and reduce delays
