Investing in infrastructure, including highways is a key part of our efforts to unlock economic growth in the South Yorkshire Combined Authority region.

This investment opens up land for the Gulliver's Valley theme park north of Rother Valley Country Park, and allows an existing business park to expand. The current highway network acts as a severe constraint to economic growth.

This project, which has completed, included a contribution from the Government’s Local Growth Fund resources which is part of the Government’s continued investment in the Northern Powerhouse.

This investment is expected to deliver 675 jobs
