BETTER BARNSLEY MARKET GATE BRIDGE

This project is to design and construct a new equality pedestrian bridge over the main Sheffield to Leeds railway line (Hallam Line).

The project is supported by Network Rail and will be part funded by them. The bridge will link the existing public transport and parking provisions to the Glass Works.

It will provide a safe accessible route over the railway line for pedestrians and cyclists which will enable the permanent closure of the existing Jumble Lane crossing.
