BUS FLEET SURVEY
We are bringing buses back under public control. We want to hear from residents across South Yorkshire about how we can design better buses that are accessible for everyone.
This public survey is now live and will be open until Monday 15 December 2025.
About this survey
In this survey, we’ll explain the timeline for bringing buses under public control and ask about your experiences of travelling around South Yorkshire by bus.
Your feedback will help us plan the next steps of bus franchising. The survey will take around 8 minutes to complete.
Drop-in events at bus interchanges
Throughout November, we’ll be out and about across South Yorkshire, giving people the chance to speak to our team in person, share feedback, and get help completing the survey.
Our team will be available at bus interchanges on selected dates to chat about the plans and hear your views.

Try a bus of the future
Step on board a brand-new electric bus and see what the future of bus travel in South Yorkshire could look like.
The bus will be on display on 22 and 23 November – come along, take a seat, test the on-board features, and tell us what you think.
