SUPERFAST SOUTH YORKSHIRE

We are becoming a superconnected region. Digital connectivity plays a vital role in enabling businesses to flourish and grow, and to attract new businesses into the region. 

The project is part of Broadband Delivery UK’s (BDUK) Superfast Broadband Extension Programme and, by March 2019, had achieved 98.7% coverage of fibre broadband services across South Yorkshire.

This project, which is now complete, includes a contribution from the Government’s Local Growth Fund resources which is part of the Government’s continued investment in the Northern Powerhouse.

Total project cost: £28,576,760
