The key towns and core city of the South Yorkshire MCA are undergoing a private sector led urban renaissance. The Sheffield City Region uses its available capital funding to help unlock private sector investment including transport connectivity.
Public realm works facilitated the delivery of a six screen cinema and restaurant scheme ensuring that the wider CCQ regeneration area is better linked, more accessible, and attractive to occupiers, developers and investors.
This project, which is complete, includes a contribution from the Government’s Local Growth Fund resources which is part of the Government’s continued investment in the Northern Powerhouse.
This investment is planning to deliver 2974 jobs.
SYMCA LGF allocation: £635,000
Total project cost: £8,492,000
