YORKSHIRE WILDLIFE PARK EXPANSION PROJECT

Additional land has been secured adjacent to the current site for a new entrance, visitor hub with themed restaurants, destination hotel and investment in signature animal reserves to expand the existing Wildlife Park by 150 acres  to make YWP one of the top destinations in the UK. It is projected that visitors will increase from 760,000 to 1.5m into the Wildlife Park.

This project, which is currently in delivery, includes a contribution from the Government’s Local Growth Fund resources which is part of the Government’s continued investment in the Northern Powerhouse.

This investment is planning to deliver up to 300 jobs.

Total project cost: £56,900,800
